With it’s high smoke point, it’s subtle nutty flavor, and it’s nourishing benefits for the gut, ghee should be a staple in everyone’s pantry, including yours! Ghee can often be very expensive in stores, and adds up, especially if you use it frequently. Learning to make it at home will save you money in the long run, plus you can be in charge of the quality butter that is used and over see the process. It is easy, and fun and anyone can do it!

What is ghee? (Clarified butter vs. ghee)
Ayurvedic significance
Nutritional benefits (healthy fats, gut health, lactose-free)
Why make ghee at home instead of buying it?
2. Ingredients & Tools Needed
Choosing the right butter (grass-fed, unsalted, organic)
Necessary equipment (heavy-bottomed pot, spoon, strainer, jar)
3. Step-by-Step Demonstration
Melting the butter
Foaming & bubbling stage
Milk solids separating & caramelizing
Straining the ghee
Storage tips
4. Ayurvedic & Culinary Uses
Ghee in Ayurveda (doshas, digestive fire, ojas-building qualities)
Cooking with ghee (high smoke point, sautéing, roasting, baking)
Using ghee for medicinal & beauty purposes (golden milk, oil pulling, skin/hair care)
